Lunch was interesting today. The debate raged over what mom was the best "cooker". Well, as much as I'm sure they are impressed with my culinary wizardry, they are all very loyal to thier home team :o) And apparently all the dads cook except Roger. Hmm, I think I may have to remedy that situation.
I'm dying to dig into a quilt. I have several ideas and I can't settle on just one. A cathedral window, a black and white tree scene, a patriotic, or a snow scene. Not that I'm drowning in spare time to do any or all of them. Also needing my attention are the window coverings in the foyer and family room. They are very 80's burgundy - frilly -yuck! I've been debating over what to do, so yesterday I took down the frillies and tossed them into the wash. Now one of two things will happen. They will come out of the wash and look refreshed and go back up for the time being OR they will fall apart, fray, unravel or otherwise meet thier demise in the washing machine. In that case, my hand will be forced and the window coverings will jump to the top of my list.
